Ayaka is amazing! When I messaged her with my ideas of things I would like to do for my birthday she was happy to plan out an amazing day with everything I imagined and more. I cannot recommend her enough! A true gem to find and I feel blessed to have someone that was so amazing at connecting with me. If you are looking for someone who is so knowledgeable and will be able to coordinate a perfect tour she is your person for sure. Since I don’t speak Japanese she helped me tremendously when it came to asking questions I seeded answers to that basic google translate would not suffice with shop staff.
I am a professional chef and a food journal writer, obviously, all the normal trips will not interested me at all. This wasabi field trip with Ms. Yasuko was an extraordinary one as we had a chance to see the process of how the wasabi was cleaned, prepared and packed. I was impressed. The wasabi farms were also gorgeous to see!
We selected Atsushi as our guide and could not be happier. Having not been to Tokyo before and being from the US we could never have seen as much in 8 hours as we did with a local. Atsushi has very good English and has a very pleasant nature. He takes the time to explain the history and the local customs. I want to point out that he customized our day based on our preferences. For instance we wanted to have Ramen for lunch so he suggested a very nice lunch stop. We would hire him again and strongly encourage you to do so.

Taking the tour with Kuni was an incredible experience that allowed us to eat and drink at local restaurants that you wouldn’t be able to find if visiting. We went out with Kuni at the beginning of the trip and he provided us a lot of useful tips that helped make our visit to Japan even better. Kuni was very nice and catered the itinerary to make sure we had the best night. Highly recommend booking!
