Born and bred in Tokyo I am still living in the suburbs of Tokyo. I spent several years in the U.S. and the UK and wanted to show international visitors around Japan in return for the hospitality I had received in foreign countries. After coming back from the UK, I obtained the qualification of the National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter. I can guide guests to every corner of Tokyo including areas off the beaten track. As a history fan I can tell you a historical episode behind the scenes. From a local perspective I can explain how we Japanese are getting along. Since I have science and technology backgrounds, I can give you a tour of scientific or technical things as well..

Guten Tag, mein Name ist Rie. Nach zweieinhalb Jahren hat Japan seine Isolationspolitik endlich beendet. Liebe meine Gaeste, danke fuers Warten ! Was moechten Sie sehen, wenn Sie nach Japan kommen ? Was moechten Sie wissen ? Was moechten Sie essen ?

4 days with Nao san

If you’re looking for something with perfect English who understands everything you say, then Nao is not for you. But if you’re looking for an excellent guide who will make your dream itineraries come true, then Nao san is for you. Nao is professional, flexible, and knowledgeable. He worked very hard so that I could see everything on my list in Tokyo, and even took us somewhere we didn’t expect: who knew there was a Statue of Liberty by Tokyo Harbor?!! The Tokyo National Park was closed when we got there, and he came back to Tokyo the next day to take us there. That’s above and beyond! In Nikko, he checked the boat schedule so that we had the time to see everything, and again, he made everything fit into our day. Thank you, Nao san, for an unforgettable expérience!

Nao K.

Dear Kelly san I could feel releaved that you could enjoy my trip in Tokyo and Nikko. Thanks to you, I could know new sightseeing spots and broaden my horizons. Take are and cheers! Thanks. Nao

Unforgettable Experience in Tokyo, Nikko and Mount Fuji.

Thank you, Nao for Unforgettable Experience! We booked 3 tours with Nao and we had wonderful time during each tour. This was our first visit to Japan, and we were very lucky to have Nao as our tour guide to show as around the Tokyo, Nikko and Mount Fuji. Nao was very organized and detailed oriented. He customized, planned and communicated every little detail of our tours as we requested. It was a great way to see and explore these parts of Japan. Nao was very kind, friendly and funny. He even helped us to figure out and get the best rout and the tickets for our next destination. I will highly recommend Nao as a tour guide.
