I had no doubt we would have a great tour with Keiko. I enjoyed the fact we could personalise the tour according to our requests, ending it a watching a beatiful demonstration of bean desserts made by hand in front of us. Lunch was delicious, despite being in a very touristy area. I definitely recommend Keiko for more tours.
We booked two tours with Kaori San & from the very start when communicating with her she was professional, prompt & went above & beyond to help us with all our questions prior. As we had no real set plan of what we’d like to do, Kaori planned a great day to suit us at our pace! My husband wanted to look at knife shops & trying lots of yummy foods so Kaori made sure these requests were included in the tour. On the day of the tour Kaori San was punctual, responsive and a knowledgeable guide. One of our group members was really struggling with walking due to an injury & Kaori was so kind, caring & accommodating to make sure he didn’t miss out. Also navigating this city wasn’t easy & Kaori helped give us have a seamless day. She also helped us purchase our onward travel tickets to the next cities on our trip. We had fantastic day with Kaori & highly recommend her! It was like exploring Tokyo with a longtime friend !Thank you so much Kaori San! If we come back to Tokyo we will definitely tour with you again!
I’m traveling with my partner who is paralyzed. Toshihiro spent hours just researching how to navigate a very complicated subway system in Tokyo just to find elevators that would get us from place to place. Often times it took three elevators just to take one train. It was very complicated and he worked everything out. There’s no way we could’ve done this on our own. He’s so thoughtful the way he thought everything through and he certainly knows the city.. You cannot go wrong by him and he’s just a gentle soul. When we come back, we will absolutely have Tito show us around even more. We used him for two days on this trip.
Thank you for the amazing tour review, Scott-san. Most of subway stations in Tokyo have elevators, but some don't have. Sometimes elevators are not working because of maintenance. Fortunately when we were doing a tour for two days, all elevators at the subway stations we used were working normally. It was lucky. I was really impressed as you and your partner were very friendly, and you were supporting him well. You and your partner also have great insight on Japanese culture. I am happy as I could contribute to the sightseeing of Tokyo for people like you. You made a relaxed atmosphere during the tour. Thank you very much again.
One of the two of us is in a wheelchair and she made sure that the trip was extra special for him. She knows so much and she is so informative. She’s gracious and accommodating. We love spending time with her as much as we love spending time in Kyoto. When we come back, we will definitely hire her for more than just a four hour tour. It would just be a mistake to pass up having her as your tour guide.
