I will accompany you in the discovery of the Cathedral of Santa Maria de la Sede, included in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the Real Alcázar, the oldest European royal palace still in use, both declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. We will also take a stroll through the Santa Cruz district, the old Jewish quarter of Seville, which is a must-see with its narrow alleys, the small squares and the typical sevillian patios.
At your hotel
If you stay within walking distance from the Real Alcázar, I will meet you in the lobby of your hotel.
We will soak in the charm of the richly decorated halls and the magnificent gardens of the Real Alcázar, the oldest royal palace still in use in Europe. It was the residence of some historic figures that changed the course of history: Ferdinand III the Holy, the Catholic monarchs Ferdinand and Isabella and the Emperor Charles V, among others.
We will continue the visit into the Santa Cruz district, the old Jewish quarter of Seville, with its typical white façades, wrought iron balconies, narrow alleys and small squares that will seduce you.
The Cathedral of Seville is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Its bell tower, the Giralda, the ancient minaret of the Almohad mosque of the XII century, has become the emblem of the city. You will have the possibility to climb the tower to enjoy a 360º wonderful view of the city.
Our tour will finish on this square where you can relax in one of the many restaurants of the area tasting some delicious tapas.
