Hello - my name is Jessica and welcome to Sweden - Välkommen! I am so happy you have chosen to travel to my home city 'Stockholm'. Even if you are only here for a short while - I would like to introduce you to our Swedish culture and traditions whilst showing you some unique parts of Stockholm and its surroundings, places that are off the beaten track as well as all the must sees! If you wish to go in-depth about life in Sweden then I have written a book under the title "Stockholm, Sweden - At Your Fingertips" and it can be found on Amazon. I have lived abroad half of my life - in Kenya, Israel, Greece etc. and what a fantastic world this is! Now I would like to share with you "my world" here in Sweden. I would love to show you the sights and sounds of Stockholm. If you have already been here before, why not let me show you the tranquil suburb of Lidingö - away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Maybe a hike through one of our nature reserves, visit a farm from the 18th century and for the hardy, maybe a dip in the lake. When I am not out guiding or with my family, I work with expats, newcomers and diplomats introducing them to our Swedish culture, ways and traditions - helping them feel at home here in Sweden. I would like to show you Sweden at its best, so you can get the most out of your visit here in Stockholm. Join me for a very Swedish experience! I look forward to welcoming you to Stockholm and its surroundings!

Welcome to Stockholm - my hometown! Join me for a guided walk through narrow alleys and on quaint cobble stones in Old Town or a visit to one of our many museums, the Royal Palace, the City Hall, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Drottningholm Palace or the Vasa Museum. We talk about the history, the architecture, the art but also todays culture and life. Let me open up the doors to my country, the culture and the history on our walks. My roots are in the country side, the province of Dalarna, where I am a qualified tourist guide. This is where one of the symbols of Sweden is made, the Dalahorse. Or why not join me to Skansen Park in Stockholm and hear about old and new traditions from Dalarna and other parts. I am a qualified tourist guide in Stockholm as well.

We had a lovely day, thank you

From the start Grant was very helpful. He created a bespoke trip for 4 of us based upon our suggestions. He kept in great contact and answered any of my questions from England virtually immediately. He collected us from our hotel and stayed with us for about 11 hours. We'd agreed to buy him lunch but he finished off by taking us to a restaurant where we also ended up buying him dinner. He was a great guide, very knowledgeable on a whole range of subjects and, being a US citizen who has been resident in Japan for 10 years, gave him the ability to help us compare western and Japanese cultures. He was very easy going and flexible as our itinerary was adjusted along the way when we saw different things. He was patient with various mishaps and myself, suffering from a hip problem. All in all a very good informative day and we would recommend Grant to others wanting a tour of Tokyo, but, particularly, to native English speakers.

Very thorough tour

Our original guide Miriam was ill and couldn’t do the tour, but she arranged to have her colleague Bety guide the tour for us. Bety was very knowledgeable and gave us a thorough tour of the history of the area. It was a poignant experience for us.

Best tour guide in Cairo

I had one day and want to sail on the Nile, see the pyramids and walk through the market before going to airport. Mohamed created a custom itinerary on short notice, picked me up at hotel and provided an amazing day. No stress or hassles, he was early, perfect English, kept my luggage safe in trunk so I could explore and got me to airport on time. Everything I asked for. Definately recommend.
